This is the page that I included to give you a taste of the movies I like. Side note, not in order of how much I like them because I can't decide that, it's too hard. Also some are obviously higher quality than others.

1. American Psycho (2000)

This movie just recently became one of my favorites. I love the satirical dark comedy aspects of this movie, and Christian Bale is great with his deadpan expressions. "I've gotta go return some videotapes".

2. Paul Blart mall cop (2009)

This movie is pure genius. Kevin James is one of my favorite comedic actors and masters physical comedy. It really makes you think what you would do in that situation. Remember: "the mind is the only weapon that doesn't need a holster".

3. The Benchwarmers (2006)

"I bet you're a real good catcher, of donuts in your mouth". This movie is a masterpiece. This quote alone is worth the entire time taken to watch this movie. The chemistry between Spade, Schneider and Heder is great, plus Swardson's character Howie is every person who dislikes going outside.

4. Halloween (1978)

This movie kicked off the slasher trend in movies, and man is it a masterpiece. One of the most effective slasher/horror movies I've seen and I love it.

5. Deadpool (2016)

I waited a long time in anticipation for this movie to come out. I have to say it definitely was worth the wait. I broke my record for most times seeing the same movie in a week, and it was 3 times in 1 week. In total I saw it 4 times in theaters which also broke another of my records (cuz you know you gotta keep score). This movie really set the bar high for quality enjoyable superhero movies.

6. MAYHEM

This movie is insane. I happened upon it while shopping at a secondhand video store, and got it home and absolutely loved it so much I almost watched it a second time. It's got a mix of a few different influences, and I'd absolutely give it a shot if I were you.

7. Shaun of the Dead (2004)

This is one of a "trilogy" of movies called the Cornetto Trilogy. All made by director Edgar Wright and the self-referential humor is well received. Yet another movie I can constantly watch and not get sick of. Also props given for having the start of the zombie apocalypse be a shot for shot recreation of Shaun's daily routine, meanwhile he's completely oblivious.

8. John Wick: Chapter 2 (2017)

I had to think if I wanted to revise this list and put it in my top 10, but in the end it's warranted. I didn't expect a sequel but I sure am glad we got one. When people say they don't make good movies anymore, show them this and they'll happily change their mind. I've never wanted another sequel more than I want a third of this for the conclusion of an explosive trilogy.

9. Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri

Seven Psychopaths and In Bruges were fantastic movies, but this one takes the cake. This is cinema at its finest, and I'm glad I got to experience this masterpiece in theaters. Any person who is into film needs to see this one.

10. The Nice Guys (2016)

This is one movie that i saw the trailer for in theaters and was beyond hyped to see. I saw this one in theaters only twice, but i would've many more. I bought this movie on Blu-Ray the very morning it came out, watched it right when i got home, and when I finished it I nearly watched it again. Definitely one of the best original movies I've seen in awhile, and my new favorite.

Very Honorable Mentions

White Chicks (2004)

This is a guilty pleasure movie, obviously it's not plausible but there's just too many good jokes to not have fun watching it. It isn't an Oscar winning movie by any means, but is a stupidly funny comedy.

Scott Pilgrim vs the World (2010)

You can tell Edgar Wright has a knack for making movies, because I've loved every one I've seen (Shaun of the Dead is on my list for a reason). He adapted this comic/graphic novel into a very enjoyable and funny movie. The visual effects are stunning as well.

Goodfellas

Martin Scorsese is my favorite director, and this is probably my favorite film by him. I love this era and the subject matter, but even if you know nothing about the Mafia, this movie is a great in depth look at the life of a made man.

Drive

Another that went under people's radars, this is one that really made me like Ryan Gosling as an actor (and after, The Nice Guys reinforced this). Though he doesn't say much in the movie, he adds a level of depth to the character I couldn't see many other doing quite as masterfully.

Django Unchained/Pulp Fiction

As I was thinking that I had to include a Tarantino movie, I realized that I can't actually say which is my favorite, because they're all so good. The shootout scene near the end of Django is one of my favorites, and Pulp Fiction is just brilliantly crafted, so they both make it on here.

Jurassic Park (1993)

This movie is outstanding for several reasons. It came out in 1993, just before cgi and sfx were becoming relevant. They largely used actual animatronic props for what they could and digitized the rest. These graphics have stood the test of time and still look awesome.
