This movie was better than Jurassic World 2, which I said in my review for that movie. Let that sink in.

Story- A bunch of guys playing tag. There ya go. Just kidding, there's just a biiiiit more to it than that. So this is mostly based on a true story, while some liberties are taken. Jerry (Renner) has never been tagged in 16 years of playing the game with his friends (Burress, Hamm, Helms and Johnson) and is getting married so this will be his official retirement season. Their goal is to tag Jerry before he retires with a flawless record. While there are a few subplots again that have no real bearing on the story, they make sense because they are set up, mostly by Jerry, so he can avoid being tagged.

Cinematography/Props- There are no props really, there are some interesting traps that are set up by Renner's character which are fun because most of them were actually set up by the real dudes the story is based on which is crazy once you see the original story or the stinger type clips at the end credits.

Acting- Since I mentioned them in the Story section I wont go over them all individually because I love all of these actors, they had fantastic chemistry with each other. I listened to Burress' podcast and he had Johnson on as a guest (and Hamm but I didn't get to listen to that one yet) and it made me appreciate the movie even more, hearing all of the behind the scenes antics and info that they shared. Leslie Bibb is also in this movie as well as Isla Fisher and besides being super pretty they both have fun and enjoyable parts in this movie.

Directing- This is Jeff Tomsic's first directorial outting, so I'll give him big props for this movie because it's directed much more competently than other big budget movies that I've seen lately. Comedies are slightly harder to judge than say an action film because for the most part it's just normal scenarios, although it is easy to see one that isn't directed well, so either way, direction was good for this one.

Soundtrack/Audio- There were a lot of licensed songs I haven't heard before, some I could tell are classic rap songs, others that may have been modern, but it seemed to skew on the rap front, although not exclusively. I did enjoy the score that they did make for the movie, one of the more interesting ones as of late for a comedy.

Final Verdict- A-. This movie was exactly what I was expecting but in a good way, just a fun, goofy movie with a ton of hilarious actors and not a ridiculous amount of improv so it actually comes off that they tried, which I appreciate.
